In 2006, James Cameron and his wife Suzy Amis Cameron opened a green elementary school in Calabasas, California called MUSE School. It’s a K-5 school designed as Suzy puts it:
“To inspire young people to live consciously with themselves, one another and the planet…and to inspire each other.”

The 22-acre campus comes outfitted with recycling bins and a reclamation area where materials are re-purposed. The school has been built out of green and recycled materials and sustainable eco friendly practices are posted on the walls of the school to help the children how to be green.
