When cooking with my good friend Aleeza, we made this super easy date based Charoset. Keep in mind we made a big batch, but you can easily adjust it to meet your needs.
Prep time: 5 minutes | Serves: 10-15
- 3 cups walnuts, around 30 dates, 1/4 cup Manischewitz wine, 2 tablespoons date paste (optional), and lettuce leafs for serving* (also optional)
Combine all ingredients (walnuts, dates, wine, and optional paste) into a food processor. Process until the mixture is finely chopped. Remove the mixture from processor and place in a serving bowl. Serve with lettuce leafs or however you wish!
*Aleeza likes to serve on this on lettuce leaves but eat Charoset however you prefer to eat it!!
