PCOS, Irregular, Newly Vegan

Hello, I became vegan about 8 weeks ago. My husband and I are trying to conceive. I recently found out I have PCOS. I do seem to ovulate but it is very late in my cycle. I have read stories, in previous forums, about women who started having regular cycles after becoming vegan. I usually have a 40 day cycle and I ovulate around CD27. Well this is my first cycle since becoming vegan and it looks like its going to be a longer cycle than I ever had before b/c I am already at CD29 and haven't ovulated yet. This is starting to get frustrating for me. I believe I am eating very healthy and I am in my normal weight range. I have lean PCOS. I exercise and I avoid processed foods and refined carbohydrates. I try to eat mostly superhero but also follow many vegan recipes. I haven't had caffeine in 6 months and I mostly avoid alcohol, except for the occasional glass of organic white wine. Any one have advice or going though the same thing?
Hi Ali! I completely understand your frustration :( I have been following a plant-based vegan diet for two years and am still struggling with PCOS :( I too am hoping that others have some helpful advice for us :)
