Today marks the start of the 5th annual Hemp History Week. Hemp is a miracle plant that is healthy, sustainable, and has many uses. I love hemp for so many reasons. There has been lots of hemp history being made recently. At the state level 13 states have legalized hemp farming. At the federal level, this year’s farm bill legalized hemp farming for research purposes. This research is currently only permitted by Universities and the Department of Agriculture within the 13 legalized states. In honor of this week, lets get excited about companies that are utilizing this amazing resource and making great healthy and eco products!
