Every year my independent fashion label VAUTE– the first all ethical vegan-eco-ethically produced apparel label to show at New York Fashion Week, gives a huge discount on our Fall-Winter collection for preorders, because we are self-funded and our early supporters make this all possible!
I am a born and raised Chicagoan and lifelong animal lover. In 2008 I quit everything to do 8 months of fabric research to develop the first winter dress coat line that was warm enough for a Chicago winter, but cruelty-free, eco-conscious, with workers paid and treated fairly. I work with mills at the cutting edge of sustainability and technology to create something better than wearing animals, for women in the coldest cities!
