Quick n Tasty Vegan Pancakes

These pancakes are the best pancakes i have ever made! They came out so fluffy and delicious, and with such a simple recipe i will definitely be making these again. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • plain flour 1 cup
  • sugar/sweet stuff (i used brown sugar and agave syrup) 1 tbsp
  • baking powder 2 tbsp
  • salt 0.125 tsp
  • soymilk 1 cup
  • vegetabe oil 2 tbsp

Directions

  1. Set the element with a pan to a medium heat
  2. Combine dry ingredients; be sure to use two tablespoons for the baking powder
  3. add soymilk and oil to the mix and mix it all up
  4. cook the pancakes as per usual - wait till bubbles form in the middle of pancake and flip
  5. wrap the pancakes up in a clean tea towel while you cook the rest to keep them warm and soft

    2 tbsp of baking powder is way too much. Unless you like the taste of baking powder, but I doubt it. I’ve switched to using 2 tsp, but I’ve seen this recipe floating around for years on many sites.

    The baking powder was too much, not only for taste, but it made them so fluffy that the insides didn’t cook before the outsides were browned.

    I made these yesterday. I did some changes. I only did 3/4 of a cup flour and I used my homemade almond milk. I used 1 1/4 cup of almond milk. They are amazing!!
