Easy peanut sauce

Sometimes I want a quick lunch and don't feel like preparing something for a long time. Here's an easy recipe I make. However, it does use peanut butter, so I recommend making it only if you don't use nut butter very often, as an occasional treat. As with my other recipes, I don't measure anything, so you'll have to experiment with what quantities of each you like. A little goes a long way, though. I can't get the picture to work, but in mine, I put some tofu in it, but that is optional. I pair it with a green salad on the side.

Ingredients

  • 1 soba noodles
  • 1 peanut butter
  • 1 tamari
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 some kind of chili sauce
  • 1 peanut or olive oil (optional)
  • 1 water

Directions

  1. Mix together until it comes to a consistency and taste you like, then mix in soba noodles.
  • cook time
    5 min.
  • prep time
    5 min.
  • yields
    1 serv.
