made this pie last night using this crust recipe http://www.veganbaking.net/vegan-recipes/pies/flaky-pie-crust.html both came out great! the maple flavor from the syrup came through quite a lot which made it sweeter than other pecan pies i've had before. i liked it even better today after it was in the fridge overnight! i loved it though and will be making it again for thanksgiving next week!----@nay, i used 3/4 cup 100% pure organic maple syrup grade A meduim amber
