Asian Broth with Buckwheat Soba Noodles

This is a yummy broth to have on a cold night. It is tasty on the tongue and warms you up from the inside out.

Ingredients

  • 1 Buckwheat Soba Noodles
  • 1/2 cup Shoyu Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice
  • 1 cup Finely Chopped Leek
  • 2 Cardomon Pods
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Nori

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, fry the leeks till they are tender.
  2. Combine Water, Shoyu, Ginger, Five Spice and Cardomon into the pot with the leeks and bring to the boil.
  3. Once boiling, bring down to a low heat and allow the pot to simmer gentle for 15min.
  4. Add the Buckwheat Soba Noodles and allow to cook until noodles are tender.
  5. Once noodles are cooked, serve noodle into 2 bowls and cover with the broth.
  6. Sprinkle the Sesame Seeds and Nori over the top.
