Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Steam the green beans.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the almonds by toasting them in a dry frying pan over medium heat, until fragrant and golden.
  3. Add the green beans and spices, drizzle with oil, and toss to mix.
